What this site is

This is the studio's front door: it describes Somebody Decide and links to its programs. The programs are separate websites on their own domains, and each has its own legal & privacy page that describes exactly what it does with the data you give it: Ready Up, Queue Up, Eat Up, Set Up, Lights Down. Read the program's page for the program; this page covers only somebodydecide.com.

Privacy

What we collect here

Nothing. This site has no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics script and no third-party embeds. There is nothing for you to type in.

Hosting

The site is served by Netlify, whose edge servers keep standard request logs (including IP addresses) for a short time under Netlify's privacy policy. We do not receive or look at them.

In your browser

This site stores nothing in your browser — not even the position of a window.

Links out

When you open a program or an outside link you leave this site and that site's policy applies. Our own programs follow the four rules on the front page: public data only, no accounts, nothing about you kept on a server, method published.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.

Terms of use

The site and the programs are provided free, "as is" and without warranty of any kind. They may be wrong, slow, or discontinued. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for anything that happens as a result of using them — including, in the programs, the outcome of a bracket or a wheel. Don't use them to harass anyone, don't automate requests against them, and don't try to break them.

Trademarks and the 1995 look

The studio's sites are an affectionate homage to the desktop computers of 1995. They are a parody and a fan tribute, not a Microsoft product: every window, bevel, icon and cursor was drawn from scratch, every sound is synthesized in the browser, and no Microsoft code, fonts, images or audio are included. Microsoft, Windows and Windows 95 are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies, which has no connection with this site. Other names on the programs' pages (Steam, Valve, Xbox, Game Pass, AniList, BoardGameGeek, OpenStreetMap, TMDB, and the games, shows and places they list) belong to their owners and are credited on each program's own page. If you are a rights holder and believe something here crosses a line, tell us and it will be fixed or removed promptly.
